80th anniversary of Papelera del Nervión S.A.

This past April, the company Papelera del Nervión celebrated 80 years of uninterrupted business activity, providing added value to our customers and collaborators, and wealth and development to the social environment of Bizkaia.

Founded in 1942 by Ciriaco Aberasturi Mirandona as a general paper warehouse focused on packaging, Papelera del Nervión S.A. is today a diversified, modern, internationally active company, and committed to Sustainability.
Supporting our historical business roots in the area of industrial packaging, our multidisciplinary team currently works in 5 business areas:

• Customized packaging solutions, High Performance and VCI ANTIOX® Packaging.
• Specific solutions for Steel.
• Big-Bag / flexible packaging.
• Consumables for Printing (Offset and flexo), from our PRINT-NERVION division.
• And our brand of masking products for decoration and body distributors: NERPEL®.

We were developing our industrial activity in Bilbao itself from our foundation until 2007. First in Artasamina street and then in the emblematic "Papelera building", in Ribera de Deusto (today headquarters of the famous Higher School of Design, KUNSTHAL).
It has been 15 years since, in order to assimilate our constant growth, we moved to our current location in Mungia; in modern, spacious and efficient facilities, including offices, warehouse and production area.
And here we go, researching, developing and learning, looking to the future.
